In a week's time, I've read the book "He's Just Not That Into You" twice. I don't usually do that, not even the classics (except for the Bible). But this book needed another go through. So I did. While staying at Pryce Plaza, we had an extra treat: two of the best teams of the PBA were in town and stayed at the hotel. Purefoods and Talk and Text players were all over the hotel, it seemed. You could hardly miss them as they are larger than life, even in real life, LOL. We caught a number of them chilling out at the hotel bar where a live band was playing, and then again during breakfast.

We were so blessed to have been invited by our dear friends the Ricardos to an overnight stay at Pryce Plaza very recently. This is one of the best hotels in Cagayan de Oro, boasting the most scenic view of the city, especially at night. In celebration of the holiday season, the Provincial Capitol grounds are decorated with what must be thousands of Christmas lights. They hang from trees in hundreds of strands. When lit up at night, it looks like there are threads of tiny lights suspended midair. The trees, the cool December breeze, the bright lights (not dazzling) – what a nice place to hang out and take a stroll!
